  • dried basil - 1 tsp
  • butter - 20 gr.
  • breadcrumbs - 30 gr.

How to cook an unusual casserole:

1. Put a frying pan with two tablespoons of vegetable oil to heat up. Immediately peel three onions and cut them into 5mm cubes. Let the onion sauté for 5 minutes until translucent.

2. Rinse the mushrooms and cut into slices, 5 mm thick.

3. Put the minced meat in a large bowl, add 1/2 tsp to it. salt, 1 tsp black ground pepper, 1 tsp dried basil, 3 tbsp. soy sauce.

4. Take three eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Add the whites to the minced meat and knead it very well until smooth. Leave the yolks, you will need them for mashed potatoes.

5. When the onion becomes transparent, add mushrooms to it. Salt 1/2 tsp. salt and stir. Fry the giba with the onions for 10 minutes until the liquid has evaporated.

6. Mixed minced meat must be beaten off. You can simply pick up the minced meat and throw it back into the bowl. Do this several times. Beaten minced meat will be more juicy after cooking. To prevent splashes from minced meat, you can put it in a large zip bag, remove the air and close it. Now toss the minced meat right in the bag onto your work surface without fear of messing up the kitchen.

7. Return the beaten minced meat to the bowl if you used a zip bag.

8. When the onions and mushrooms are fried, let them cool. Better put it in a bowl so that it happens faster.

9. Boil five eggs hard boiled in advance (cook after boiling for 8 minutes). Peel the eggs and cut into 5×5 mm cubes.

10. Take a cake pan with a hole in the middle with a diameter of 24 cm. If you do not have such a mold, take a regular round mold and put a clean tin can filled with salt in the middle. Lubricate the form with butter (vegetable oil is also possible) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

11. Put half of the minced meat on the bottom, lay it evenly.

12. Put the stuffing on the stuffing. First, mushrooms with onions, on top of the mushrooms - boiled eggs. Do not put the filling near the walls of the form.

13. From above, close the filling with the second half of the minced meat, connecting it along the edges with the bottom layer of meat. Thus, the filling will be closed on all sides.

14. In an oven preheated to 200 degrees, bake the meat ring for 45 minutes.

15. Prepare mashed potatoes. Boil the potatoes, drain all the water and mash the potatoes with a potato masher. Add half a glass of cream and three remaining yolks to the puree, salt to taste. Stir.

16. Remove the meat ring from the oven after 45 minutes. Increase the temperature in the oven to 230 degrees. Allow the meat to cool slightly in the tin so it can be removed more easily.

17. Place an inverted plate on the mold and turn the dish over. Remove the mold and the meat ring will remain on the plate.

18. Cover the baking sheet with parchment and carefully place the meat on it from the plate.
