Ingredients

  • ground paprika to taste
  • a mixture of ground peppers to taste
  • garlic 3 cloves
  • apples 4 pcs.

How to cook whole chicken with apples in the oven

  1. I prepare everything you need. I carefully examine the chicken for the presence of feather residues, wash it outside and especially carefully inside, while removing everything internal organs, which often remain even in carcasses bought in a store.

  2. Preparing the marinating mixture. I put mustard in a small bowl, vegetable oil, salt and spices.

  3. Add chopped garlic and mix well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

  4. I generously rub the chicken with this mass.

  5. After that, I leave the carcass for 2-3 hours at room temperature so that it marinates properly. The ideal option will put the grated chicken in a closed container or bag and send it to the refrigerator for the night, and best of all for the whole day. This is just the option when the longer, the juicier and more aromatic the meat will turn out.

  6. Apples are peeled and cut into quarters, if they are large, then smaller ones can be. I stuff the chicken tightly.
