If you do not know how to surprise your loved ones or guests, then bake a pie with spinach and cheese. Such baked goods with a crispy crust and juicy stuffing everyone will appreciate it. The taste of pronounced spinach is not felt at all in the pie and it goes well with butter cream. We offer you three recipes at once original baking: European, Ossetian and Italian.

With cheese

Pie with spinach and cheese is especially loved in European countries.

Ingredients:

  • 265 g flour;
  • three raw eggs;
  • floor packaging of ghee;
  • half a glass of cream (10%);
  • 420 g spinach;
  • 355 g of cheese.

Cooking method:

  1. For the test, take one egg, beat it with a pinch of salt, butter, add three teaspoons of water and add flour. The resulting flour mass is wrapped with a film and cooled.
  2. For the filling, chop the spinach and cheese, and beat the remaining two eggs with cream. We alter everything and try the filling for salt, since cheese is an insipid product.
  3. We roll out the dough thinly (leave a little for decoration), distribute it in shape, lay out the filling. Cut out long strips from the dough and decorate the cake, bake for 45 minutes (temperature 200 ° C)

With suluguni

In Ossetia, they cook a pie with spinach and suluguni.

Ingredients (for three pies):

  • 225 ml sour drink:
  • 155 ml of milk;
  • two st. spoons of sour cream;
  • 35 g fresh yeast;
  • Art. a spoonful of sweet sand;
  • 580 g flour;
  • 135 g spinach;
  • 225 g suluguni;
  • spices.

Cooking method:

  1. In a bowl, mix all milk and fermented milk drinks, put the yeast, add the sweetener and flour. We mix the ingredients, if the dough turns out dry, then dilute it with kefir or milk.
  2. We shift the mass to the table, sprinkle with salted granules and continue to knead for 15 minutes, then cover the base and forget about it for 40 minutes.
  3. For the filling, heat the oil in a pan, add the spinach leaves, and then mix with chopped on coarse grater suluguni and spices.
  4. We divide the risen base into three koloboks. From each ball we sculpt a large cake, put the filling in the middle and tuck the edges to the center, fasten and roll out the resulting bag with a rolling pin.
  5. We put the workpiece on a baking sheet with parchment, in the middle you need to make a puncture with a knife and send it to the oven for ten minutes (temperature 200 ° C). Spread the pie closed with spinach well with melted butter.
  6. From the remaining koloboks of dough, we also make cakes with filling and bake in the oven.

Italian ricotta pie

It is easy to guess that the following recipe is Italian, because ricotta is a favorite cheese in Italy.

Ingredients:

  • two sheets of puff pastry (no yeast added);
  • 255 g ricotta;
  • 380 g spinach;
  • bulb;
  • two st. tablespoons of melted butter;
  • two large eggs;
  • 55 g parmesan;
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Since the dough is already ready for us, it only needs to be thawed first, let's go straight to the filling. To do this, chop the onion and sauté it until soft in ghee.
  2. After that, add chopped spinach to the onion and simmer over low heat for a couple of minutes.
  3. Put the ricotta cheese and chopped parmesan in a bowl, beat in the eggs and sprinkle the spinach with onions, salt, pepper, flavor with nutmeg to taste and mix.
  4. We spread a thinly rolled layer of dough into the mold, then the filling and close the second layer, fix the edges and, if desired, grease the cake with whipped yolk. We send the Italian pie to the oven for 40 minutes (temperature 200 ° C).

Since spinach is not endowed with bright palatability, it can be safely combined with other ingredients, such as meat, fish, dairy products or vegetables. So do not be afraid to experiment and come up with your own culinary masterpieces.
