I looked at the recipe for two days.

For filling:

  • 400-500 g fresh strawberries;
  • 300 g sour cream;
  • 150 g sugar (5 tablespoons with a slide);
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • vanilla sugar- one or two sachets;
  • two tablespoons of flour.

How to bake a strawberry pie

Very simple. I take 200 g of flour. If you have a 200 ml glass on the farm, then these are two such glasses, not quite full.

I pour the flour on the board, add the cold butter cut into pieces to it and start chopping the butter in the flour with a knife. You should get a fine butter-flour crumb. To speed up the process, you can wield two knives (I don’t know how to do it myself, but I have to be smart).

I collect the crumbs in a slide, and in the slide I make a funnel, and I break an egg into the funnel. I wanted to knead already, but I thought: “What is it, my dough will be completely unsweetened?” - and sprinkled a tablespoon of sugar.

With a fork, he began to slowly stir up the egg in the funnel and knead the dough. It first turned out in the form of separate lumps - large and small, you need to mold them together and give the shape of a ball. You do not need to knead, just blind.

The dough was wrapped in cling film and placed in the refrigerator.

I went to the city to get a haircut, tomorrow we have a meeting of classmates (figase, 25 years have already passed!) An hour later he returned, washed the strawberries, cut off the "tails", laid them out to dry on napkins.

I take out the dough and without any rolling pin, I just knead it with my hands on the surface detachable form(diameter 26 cm).

I pull off the sides with a height of 3-4 centimeters (as long as the dough is enough), the thickness of the layer is 3-5 mm.

It remains to cut the dried strawberries - halves, quarters - as you like. For my strawberry pie, I used 600 g of berries, as a result, too much juice stood out, when cutting it flowed out of the pie in places. Next time I'll take fewer berries - 400-450 grams.

Bake in an oven preheated to about 200 degrees for 45 minutes. Readiness was determined by the test, the filling remains semi-liquid to the last. Don't let this scare you, it will "grab" after the cake has completely cooled.

For greater sweetness and hiding defects, you can sprinkle on top powdered sugar. I have here juice in some places over the sides flowed out and baked, but this did not spoil the overall impression at all.
