You can cook such a sausage even on the basis of custard or any other cream, but the initial recipe is quite simple - from any cookie, preferably shortbread. Usually one part of it is turned into small crumbs, and the second is broken into pieces. In the context, it really turns out a mass that looks like a sausage with pieces of lard. Only sausage is sweet, dark and fragrant.

There are also recipes for similar dietary sausages, but today they are useless. If you want to remember the taste of childhood, then we recommend stopping at nutritious, but so familiar sausages.

Chocolate sausage is a great solution, regardless of the occasion. It can be the arrival of friends or guests, and a small home holiday, or just a desire to pamper yourself and loved ones. Sweetness is absolutely always obtained, requiring neither the accuracy of proportions, nor meticulousness in the ingredients, nor special skills. And is there anything tastier than the taste of childhood?

The taste of chocolate sausage from cookies is familiar to many, this is a favorite taste of childhood. This simple treat can be made for the holiday, or you can just please loved ones on the weekend. Very tasty and very easy to prepare. Children especially love chocolate sausage.

  • 500 g cookies
  • 1 pack (180-200 g) butter
  • 1 cup shelled walnuts
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 10-15 g vanilla sugar
  • 3-4 st. l. cocoa powder
  • 6 art. l. milk

You can take any cookies, both shortbread and unsweetened dry. I prefer Anniversary Traditional or Baked Milk.

Choose butter so that it softens easily at room temperature, with it the chocolate sausage from the cookies will be more plastic.

Cooking:

Fry lightly in a dry frying pan. walnuts, stirring constantly, until a characteristic pleasant smell of roasted nuts appears. Immediately pour into a bowl, otherwise the nuts may burn on a hot frying pan.

1/3 of the nuts and at least 1/3 (or maybe half) of the cookies are scrolled in a meat grinder.

Break the remaining cookies small pieces so that it can be clearly seen on the cut of the finished chocolate sausage.

Chop the remaining nuts with a knife, but not very finely.

We combine cookies and nuts with a scrolled mixture.

Mix evenly with two spoons.

Now let's cook chocolate sauce. To do this, in a small saucepan, mix cocoa powder, sugar and vanilla sugar. If there is no vanilla sugar on hand, it is quite possible to do without it.

Add milk, mix until smooth and put on a very small fire. Heat, stirring, for 7-10 minutes, no more, not allowing to boil. During this time, the sugar has time to almost completely dissolve and will not be felt in the finished chocolate sausage.

Take the saucepan off the fire. Let the sauce cool down a bit, literally 5-7 minutes, and lower the butter cut into pieces into it.

Stir with a spoon until the butter is completely dispersed and the chocolate sauce becomes completely homogeneous.

Pour warm sauce into cookies.

Carefully, without haste, mix. If it is difficult to stir with a spoon, you can do it just with your hand.

Depending on the type of cookie, and also on the type of butter, too, the mixture for chocolate sausage sometimes turns out to be rather dry, which makes it difficult to mold a dense sausage that does not crumble later. For this unfortunate case, there is one little secret- should be added to ready mix a small beaten egg, or at least half of it. The mixture becomes noticeably more plastic, and the sausage is molded without difficulty. But this time the egg was not needed.

So, the finished mixture is divided in half. One half is placed in a regular plastic bag, I have it 25 cm wide, and we form a dense chocolate sausage.

We do the same with the second half. We got two such cute chocolate sausages, about 22 cm long and about 5 cm in diameter:

I do not advise wrapping the mass in foil, because it tightly sticks to chilled chocolate sausages.

We clean for 4-5 hours in the refrigerator, and preferably at night. If it’s completely unbearable, you can put it in the freezer for an hour, no more, and then try it with tea. Store the sausage simply in the refrigerator, no need to put it in the freezer.

And one more piece of advice. It is better to cut chocolate sausage with a wide, so-called chef's knife. The slices are even and do not crumble.

I wish you all the best and hope you enjoy the recipe.

Also on the site there is a recipe for delicious homemade. "Potato" is cooked even easier and faster than chocolate sausage, I highly advise you to cook it.

And that's all for today. Good day to all and good luck.
Always cook with pleasure!

Smile! 🙂
