And yet, it is so wonderful that your loved ones will definitely like it and you won’t have to prepare food separately for yourself, separately for those who do not support PP. And since you can sandwich the roll in the most various fillings, then the most demanding eater will find an option to suit his taste. You can even use Susanna’s recipe from “The Most Charming and Attractive”, namely: “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. But the main thing is that in no case should you say how, what and from what it is prepared,” and more..” We’ll call this cookie something romantic... “Maestro.” That is, we will never tell our man. that this is just a puff omelette, and for greater importance we will give it a name, for example: Frittata in Sicilian style. A frittata is an Italian omelette, so we didn’t lie here, so if we meet with a culinary connoisseur, he won’t catch us lying. And in Sicilian - this is pure fantasy, but, you see, it sounds very representative!

What do we need? For an omelet - 4 eggs, there are options here. if you have problems with cholesterol, take only proteins. And again, the portion can be reduced or increased, depending on how much Sicilian omelette (hee hee) we want to cook!


Beat with a fork, at this stage you can add salt and pepper, I didn’t do this because I generally don’t add enough salt, besides, I planned to put cheese and hoped that it would be salty (spoiler alert! The cheese turned out to be completely bland!).


We will fry a pancake from a beaten egg. To do this, take a non-stick frying pan and pour approximately 1/3 of the resulting whipped mixture onto it. Like this:


Let's wait until the pancake has set a little and start filling it. I first sprinkled it with grated cheese and started rolling it into a tube:


I know it's not very clear in the photo, but! If you look closely, you will see melted white cheese on the yellow pancake! This is absolutely mine unleavened cheese, as it turned out, it was mozzarella.

  2. Beat everything thoroughly with a mixer or whisk (so that there are no lumps) until smooth.
  3. Afterwards, let the “dough” stand for 10 minutes, then add vegetable oil. At this point, the preparation of the egg mass is completed, taste it, and if there is not enough salt, add as much as needed.
  4. Grease a well-heated pancake pan (if you don’t have one, take one with a thick bottom) vegetable oil before placing the first pancake. We will not need this procedure later.


5. In the ladle, type required amount“dough” and spread it over the pan in a circular motion. Don't be alarmed when the pancake starts to rise in the pan. After you lift the lid, it will go down.

Cooking time depends on the heat of the pan - from about 20 seconds to a minute. We will fry the egg pancake for rolls only on one side, but under the lid.

The pancake is considered ready only when there is no wet dough left on it. After that ready pancake remove from heat and repeat the procedure again with the next batch of egg mixture. And so on until the “dough” is over.

3. Let's prepare spicy cheese filling. For this processed cheese grate it on a fine grater, combine it with chopped herbs and add the garlic passed through a press.


4. Fill the filling with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly, making it homogeneous.


5. Let's bake an egg pancake to decorate the appetizer. Heat the frying pan and lightly sprinkle with vegetable oil. Pour the egg mixture onto it and spread it over the entire surface. Fry for 2-4 minutes over medium heat. When the egg sets well, the pancake is ready.


6. We will not fry it on the other side, but simply transfer it to a plate or large dish, which we will work on further. We simply covered the pan with a cutting board and turned it over. This way the soft yellow, not browned side is at the bottom, and it is this side that will become the outside of the roll.


7. Distribute the filling over the pancake, leaving a small edge untouched.


8. Roll the pancake so that the edge without filling covers the roll and ends up at the bottom. You can wrap the roll in cling film and refrigerate for several hours, or you can serve immediately.


9. Cut the egg roll with the filling from processed cheese and serve to the table. Unusual snack ready with a delicate base and savory filling. Bon appetit.
