  • onion - 1 pc.
  • potatoes - 800-900 gr.

1. Today I have a large pink salmon at 1300 gr, such a good fat fish. It needs to be cleaned of scales, cut off all the fins and tail, remove the head (it’s somehow inhumane to write this ...), rinse thoroughly. The head can be left for the ear. By adding some more fish, the ear will turn out to be noble. Then dry the fish with paper towels and cut into steaks.

2. I got 8 steaks and a tail. The tail can also be left for the fish soup, but for some reason I decided to use it. It is still better to cut the bone from the tail. Of course, you can cut off all the bones and bake the fillet. But I'm after work today, everyone wants hurry up dinner so I won't waste my time.

3. Steaks should be marinated for a short time. I will do it in two stages. First, I'll just salt the fish. I have for this case Himalayan salt. It is coarsely ground, already with the addition of some spices, and most importantly, it contains a mixture of peppers. I don’t know how much this salt is really Himalayan, but it is perfect for a marinade.

I sprinkle the fish with it, and rub salt into the skin and flesh, both outside and inside.

If you do not have such salt, then this is not a problem at all. Take common salt, mix it with pepper and a mixture of any spices for fish. Many spices do not need to be used, except for a pinch. The fish itself is delicious and with its delicate smell. Therefore, we will not interrupt all this. Our task is only to emphasize all the advantages of this delicious fish. Mix all the ingredients, then sprinkle them over the steaks and rub them into the flesh.

4. Leave the pink salmon to marinate for 20 minutes. In the second step, we will pour the juice of half a lemon on the stacks. But we'll do that a little later. 5. Now let's prepare all the vegetables. Wash, clean and cut them, as fantasy tells. My imagination told me to cut them like this.

6. Potatoes are also peeled and cut. I cut it into slices, but you can cut it into cubes and circles.

7. Now we begin to collect our dish. Lay a double layer of foil on a baking sheet. Lay out in such a way that hanging edges remain. Subsequently, we will cover the prepared dish with them. Lubricate the foil with vegetable oil. If this is not done, then you will have to pick both fish and potatoes from it.

For spices, I use a mixture of paprika, thyme, turmeric and coriander. 14. Now you will need to do sour cream sauce. It is done very, very simply. Mix eggs with sour cream, add half a teaspoon of salt and a pinch of pepper. We mix everything until smooth.

15. Fill the fish with the resulting mixture. I ended up with two full tablespoons for each steak.

16. Now you need to build a “tent” for fish from foil. It is desirable that the foil does not come into contact with the products. In this case, a closed space is formed, where with the help of steam the dish will cook faster and become even tastier.
