Calamari with onions and sour cream



Compound:

  • Ground black pepper, fresh dill - to taste
  • Vegetable oil - 20 ml.
  • Onion - 2 pcs.
  • Sour cream - 200 ml.
  • Squids - 500 gr.

Cooking:

  1. Peel the onion, wash well and cut into thin half rings or rings.
  2. Put a frying pan on the stove, heat the vegetable oil well, then lightly fry the onion.
  3. Boil the squids in boiling water, and then peel them. Rinse thoroughly, then remove all the insides, as well as cartilaginous arrows. Then cut the squid into thin strips (not wider than 0.5 cm.)
  4. Mix seafood with fried onions, and then add sour cream (about 3 tablespoons), lightly season with freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Stew squids with onions and sour cream for about 5 minutes. covered over medium heat. Leave in the pan for 10 minutes so that the dish can properly infuse.
  6. Just before serving, garnish with chopped fresh dill.

Before frying squids, you need to prepare them. Most often they are thawed and the film is removed. Seafood cooks very quickly. Only 2-3 min. in a pan will be enough to get a fragrant savory dish, which can be served with potatoes or rice.
