Cooking meat: we clean the smoked thighs from the skin, bones, and the meat is cut into medium pieces. The skin is fried in a frying pan with chopped onions, grated carrots and chopped leeks. After frying, the skin is removed from the pan, and all other ingredients are added to the soup. Cook for approximately 7 minutes. Salt. We turn off the fire. Leave the soup for 20 minutes, and then gently puree in a blender.

In a separate frying pan, the bacon is fried on both sides.

Recipe 4: Pea Soup with Chicken in Meat Broth

This recipe uses two types of meat - smoked chicken breast and boiled meat.

Required Ingredients:

Chicken smoked meat - 500 g;

Peas - 400 g;

Chicken - 200 g;

Potatoes - 5 pcs.;

Onions - 1 - 2 pcs.;

Carrots - 1 - 2 pcs.;

Cooking method:

Peas are washed and poured for a couple of hours cold water. This will allow it to boil faster.

Chop 1 onion and 1 carrot. At this stage, fresh meat is used. You can use the thigh. Add fresh meat, onions and carrots to the pan. Boil until ready. We need broth, for this we filter the water. Add peas to the resulting broth and set to boil on fire. A few minutes before readiness, potatoes are added here, previously peeled and diced.

Again we take onions and carrots, peel. But this time we will fry them in vegetable oil. Added bay leaf. Add the roast to the soup, salt. At the end, we cut boiled and smoked meat, which we also send to the pan. The soup is ready!

Pea soup should be salted at the very end, since peas remain hard longer in salt water.

Be sure to soak the peas for a couple of hours before cooking. Like other dry legumes, peas take a long time to cook.

Pour half a chicken carcass and peas with water and put to boil. While boiling, remove the foam from the broth. It has been experimentally observed that if you pour boiling water over meat (not only chicken) and peas, there will be much less foam when cooking pea soup.


Split peas cook much faster than regular peas. We cook it for 30 - 40 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare a roast for pea soup with onion and carrot chicken. Salt to taste.

We cut potatoes into cubes.

When the peas and chicken are almost ready, add the roast and potatoes. Add more soup if needed.

Remove the chicken from the broth, separate the meat from the bones and put back into the soup.

Cook the soup until the potatoes are ready. My peas boiled very quickly.


Finely chop the greens, add to the pan with bay leaf.
Cook for another 5-7 minutes, turn off the soup, let it brew a little.

We pour the soup with peas into pieces of chicken on plates and call everyone to the table. I served my soup with homemade milk foam bread.

The secret of soft and at the same time not boiled peas in ordinary baking soda. Put and pour a little soda into the peas, about 0.5 teaspoon. Cook the peas for about 15-25 minutes until they are ready. Then we remove it from the stove and if the peas were whole, then with a crush (which we crush the mashed potatoes) slightly mash the peas, just do not overdo it so that porridge does not turn out. And here you can also add one clove of garlic, passed through a garlic press, mix immediately. You can do without garlic at all, as you like. 3 Pour clean water into a 3-liter saucepan and put the chicken meat, salt and set to cook until tender. 4 When the chicken meat is completely ready, send our prepared peas to the pan and let it boil. 5 Separately peel onion and cut it into small cubes.6 Next, peel the carrots and rub on a coarse grater.7 In a heated pan in a small amount vegetable oil we pass the onions with carrots and send them to the pan to the chicken with peas. 8 Then we clean and cut into medium-sized cubes or bars raw potatoes, which, 5 minutes after frying, we send everything to the same pan. 9 Bring the soup to a boil and let it “boil” slightly over medium heat for about 20 minutes, until the potatoes are fully cooked and the peas are “lightly boiled”. We clean the potatoes, wash, cut, add to the pan and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Peel the onion, wash and finely chop.

We clean the carrots, wash them and three on a coarse grater.

Fry the onion until golden brown, add the carrots, fry for 5 minutes and put in a saucepan a couple of minutes before the end of cooking. When I’m lazy, I don’t fry, I put carrots and onions raw, it also turns out delicious.

Oh, I almost forgot. Be sure to add the garlic, peel it, wash it and squeeze it through the garlic or finely chop it. Without it, the soup will not be as fragrant and tasty.

Salt and add spices to taste. You can add greens. Everything boiled, you can turn off the stove, the soup is ready.
