  • Chop the garlic. Mix it with thyme and pepper. Rub the mixture onto the meat and leave to marinate for 1 hour.
  • Place turkey in pan. Add some salt. Drizzle with oil. Cover with foil. Place in the oven, heated to 230-240°, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil. Leave the steaks in the oven for another 15 minutes until golden brown.

Note: Steaks can be placed in a sleeve or wrapped in foil before baking. Then proceed in the same way as written in the recipe.

Turkey steak with lemon in the oven

Ingredients:

  • turkey fillet – 500 g;
  • salt;
  • black pepper;
  • lemon – 1 pc.;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Wash the turkey fillet. Cut into portions. Sprinkle with pepper and salt.
  • Grease a frying pan with oil and heat well. Place pieces of meat on it. Fry quickly over high heat until golden brown.
  • Place in a greased pan. Cover each steak with a thin slice of lemon.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-25 minutes at 180-200°.

Note to the hostess

  • 5 minutes before cooking, you can sprinkle the steaks with grated cheese.
  • Serve them with any side dish or vegetable salad.
  • Salt the meat just before cooking, otherwise it will release its juice ahead of time and end up dry when cooked.
  • If you pre-fry steaks in a pan, do not cover it with a lid.
