DIY green tea soap. Homemade soap recipes from scratch

Green tea soap is very beneficial for health. It cleanses and protects the skin, prevents the formation of wrinkles, and removes harmful substances from the body. Many popular skin care products contain green tea extract. Green tea is believed to inhibit enzymes whose overactivity contributes to facial aging. By making your own soap, you can be sure that green tea has retained its beneficial properties and has not been replaced with dubious additives and chemical dyes. Modern commercial scented soaps can actually be made from just about anything.

For production you will need: 8 cups of any regular soap, grated, 25 grams of green tea extract, one teaspoon of tea leaves, 15 grams of tea-scented aromatic oil and distilled water. Try using the Mate variety of tea, it has a very intense aroma. You can use any green dyes you like. If you add refreshing essential oils of mint or lime inside, the soap will create a refreshing effect and help you wake up in the morning.

Place the steamer on the fire. When the water boils in it, put the soap crushed on the track inside. Prepare a cup of distilled boiling water and brew one teaspoon of tea leaves in it. Drain the tea leaves, add the resulting tea and green tea extract to a double boiler and boil with the soap base for about 20 minutes.

Stir the mixture every five minutes. When the soap solution begins to become dense and similar to mashed potatoes, you can add dyes, essential oil and green tea leaves. Adding leaves while cooking in a pan will not affect the usefulness of the soap. With them, the soap will look more impressive and resemble a natural product. After the liquid mass hardens, the leaves will wither and turn brown.

Pour the solution into the mold, filling approximately 80 percent of its volume. It may take several days for the soap substance to completely harden. Before removing the soap, place it in the freezer for a couple of hours to allow it to release easily.

If you haven't gotten enough sleep, you can use the resulting soap to give yourself a refreshed look by rubbing it over your skin and reducing dark circles under your eyes. In addition, green tea soap will clear the skin of acne and blackheads on the nose, resulting in a more even complexion and smoothing the skin. This happens because green tea saturates the body's cells with oxygen, stimulates blood circulation and helps strengthen capillaries.

In the cosmetics industry, red palm oil and tocopherol are often added to green tea soap. The oil deeply nourishes and moisturizes the skin, and also helps smooth out wrinkles, and tocopherol is considered a vitamin of youth. If you can find these ingredients, you will have a professional cosmetic product.

Hello friends!

I came across a wonderful ingredient -

Its color is the most beautiful - completely green (matcha powder also contains a high amount of chlorophyll, due to which the tea has a bright green color.). So I couldn't resist and made soap from scratch with it.

Matcha, of course, is simply a storehouse of substances! This is an excellent antioxidant, 20 times stronger than vitamin E! Contains a high amount of polyphenols, xanthines and a type of catechin - epigallocatechin gallate (EGCg). Green tea protects the skin from aging and damage from the sun's UVB rays. Xanthines are represented in matcha by caffeine and theobromine, which have anti-inflammatory, anti-cellulite and anti-irritant effects. Of course, in soap we can only hope to retain something useful. But the color is good :)

I mixed the soap in two stages.

The first part contains matcha macerate, the second - white clay.

The soap turned out great and even the lye calculator liked it: good foaming due to coconut oil, excellent care properties due to shea butter, sweet almond and castor oil, excellent foam stability due to castor oil and shea butter. And, of course, hardness! Coconut and shea butter provide it with interest.

If you are looking for a good soap recipe from scratch without palm oil, this is it :) Use it!

We return to the topic of making soap with your own hands. Today I want to introduce you to making soap with green tea. This soap will serve you as an antibacterial, rejuvenating and tightening agent. This soap also has a healing effect.

Green tea contains natural antioxidants (called catechins) that help fight damage caused by free radicals.

Many studies have shown that green tea can inhibit local enzymes, the excessive activity of which contributes to age-related skin aging. Simply put, green tea is an indispensable remedy in the fight against old age.

So, let's move on to describing the process with healthy green tea.

Ingredients for making soap:

  • 8 cups grated regular soap
  • 25 grams green tea extract
  • 15 grams green tea oil
  • 10 grams of mint essential oil
  • special dye: emerald green
  • half a glass of distilled water
  • 1 teaspoon green tea for infusion

Step 1. Place the steamer on the fire. As soon as the water boils, place the crushed soap in the steamer. It should be almost full.

Step 2. Prepare a cup of tea with your distilled boiling water, put 1 teaspoon of green tea leaves in it and brew.

Step 3. Add your green tea 30 grams and green tea extract to the steamer.

Step 4. Stir your mixture every five minutes. When your soap ends up looking thick and hard, like mashed potatoes (like in the photo), it’s time to add essential oil. You can add green tea leaves to the steamer. They will look like brown, black and green pieces inside the homemade soap. You can also add your emerald green dye at this time.

Step 5. Fill your molds to 80% capacity.

Step 6. Let harden in pans for three to five days. Then place the molds in the freezer overnight to make it easier to remove the frozen soap (it will then seem to slide). Put it in a dry and cool place for another day, and then your homemade soap is ready to use.

On a note

By the way, some skin care products contain green tea as their main ingredients. In addition, it is very easy to make green tea lotion at home, as well as a cleansing mask or tonic.

The fairly large amount of caffeine in green tea justifies its use in cosmetics for the care of the delicate skin around the eyes. After all, green tea can reduce congestion and help reduce dark circles under the eyes.

Face masks containing green tea help fading and sagging skin become young and radiant again. Therefore, there is no doubt that the DIY soap with green tea prepared according to the above recipe will only benefit your skin.

Hydrogen soap with green tea extract is a unique and natural product with antioxidant properties. The soap contains hydrogen - one of the most famous antioxidants (a solid like MgH2+) and green tea powder.

The main components of soap are natural ingredients that are widely used in cosmetology and in the production of health products. The soap effectively moisturizes and cleanses and soothes dry and sensitive skin, giving it a healthy appearance.

Green tea powder

Green tea leaves are harvested from ecologically clean Boseong, an area of South Korea famous for its famous tea plantations. The leaves are dried in carbon nanotubes with reduced metal content and without winding, using infrared drying technology.

Drying products using this technology allows you to maintain the content of vitamins and other biologically active substances in the dry product at the level of 80-90% of the original raw material.

The result is green tea powder with a granule size of 1-2 microns.

Far Infrared Carbon Radiation (Directed Heating):

  • The microscopic pores in green tea powder contribute to the formation of a thick foam;
  • Mixing water and green tea powder while washing your face triggers the formation of catechins;
  • The microscopic pores of green tea powder effectively retain hydrogen molecules, providing a long-lasting healing effect.

MgH2 solid hydrogen

Hydrogen, as an antioxidant molecule, has the ability to selectively remove harmful oxygen free radicals and promotes deep cleansing and healing of the skin.

  • MgH2: Solid - hydrogen reacts with magnesium (condition: 300~400℃, 24~400 atm.);
  • H2: Capacity 6~7.6 WT% H+ per g Mg;
  • Produces H2 1650ml per 1g MgH2;
  • Produces H2 after magnesium reacts with water ⇒ MgH2 + H2O = MgO + H2.

H2 molecule size

  • Dimensions of an ordinary water molecule: above 25 um;
  • Skin pore sizes: 25 um;
  • Bubble size (H2 particles): below 0.005 um;

Due to its small size, hydrogen easily penetrates the pores of the skin and enhances the moisturizing effect due to the reaction of water with molecular oxygen.
