The year of the Rooster will soon come and for the holiday, many will probably cook different dishes in the form of a symbol of the year. I offer my version of the Rooster salad. Very tasty and satisfying, and prepared quickly. There is nothing complicated in the design. Here is such a cockerel I got.

There is nothing unusual in the composition of the salad, all the products that are available, familiar to us.

I pre-boiled chicken meat, potatoes and eggs. Let it cool down and remove the shells from the eggs.

To decorate the rooster, I set aside 2 squirrels, and chopped the yolks and the two remaining eggs finely. She put it in a large bowl.

Next I put potatoes, cut into thin slices.

Finely chopped ham and a piece of boiled chicken.

Then I also chopped one pickled cucumber. It can be replaced with an apple, the taste will become more original.

It remains to chop a small onion finely and send it to the rest of the ingredients in a cup.

I cooked all the products without salting, considering this, I measure the right amount of salt and add it to the cup along with mayonnaise.

I mix everything well. The salad is basically ready.

Now you need to prepare the "feathers" of the rooster. To do this, I take the remaining boiled proteins and grind on a fine grater for vegetables.

I decided to make small, portioned cockerels (for each guest), so I took a regular glass (for wine). To make the body, I densely filled the glass with cooked meat salad.

and turned it over onto a flat dish. The salad will remain on this plate, so we immediately take those that will stand on the festive table.

Then I take a teaspoon, on the reverse side I apply a portion of mayonnaise

and carefully lubricate the entire body of the future cockerel. Thanks to this "glue", the frayed protein - feathers will adhere well to the base.

Then I take a portion of protein chips and apply on the body, starting from the top.

And all over the area, from all sides.

The base is ready, it remains only to give the rooster a finished look. I take a piece of red bell pepper and cut out a scallop and a beak from it

I make eyes out of black peppercorns. I put in place the beak and comb.

From a large piece of pepper I make a tail.

I fold it in half and stick it in the back. I do it carefully.

I make paws from a piece of ham

and put them in their place.

From parsley I make grass around the cockerel.

Well, that's all, the New Year's salad "Rooster" is ready.

The cooking process does not take much time and effort, if desired, you can prepare one large portion, taking not a glass as a form, but something larger, but then, of course, take more ingredients.

You can combine the symbol of the year and the symbol of the New Year by making an Olivier salad in the form of a rooster.

  2. While the bird is cooking, let's take care of the rest of the ingredients. In a frying pan heated with oil, fry finely chopped onion until soft. Next, load the champignons cut into thin slices. Fry the mushrooms with onions until cooked, salt.
  3. Cucumbers cut into medium-sized cubes. Finely grate cheese and boiled eggs, put them in different containers.
  4. Let's get started on the salad. After cooling, cut the fillet into small pieces, put on a large plate in the form of a "trunk" of a rooster.
  5. We thickly cover the base of the salad with mayonnaise, and then form the next layer - champignons fried with onions. We distribute the mushrooms evenly, keeping the shape of the salad. Top with mayonnaise.

From the prepared ingredients, we begin to lay out a salad in the form of a cockerel in the following sequence:

  1. The first layer is chicken meat;
  2. The second layer is champignons;
  3. The third layer is carrots with onions;
  4. The fourth layer is cheese;
  5. The fifth layer is a walnut;

We coat each layer, except for the third and fifth, with mayonnaise. Decorate the salad with bell pepper. We make a beak, scallop, paws and wings of a cockerel out of it.

This fruit salad is extremely easy to prepare and performs a more aesthetic function. Its main component is pineapple, and other ingredients are used only for decoration.

We clean the potatoes, cut them and boil them in salted water until fully cooked. Ready potatoes should be thoroughly mashed so that a homogeneous puree is obtained.

To make the puree tastier, add a little milk and black pepper to it.

Add one raw egg to the finished puree and mix everything thoroughly.

Fry minced chicken in vegetable oil along with finely chopped onions.

We grease a wide baking sheet with vegetable oil and put mashed potatoes in it in the form of nests. You should get about six nests. Put minced meat in the center of each nest. Three cheese on a fine grater. Sprinkle some of the cheese on the potato nests.

When all the preparation is over, we send the nests to the oven, which is heated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes. While the nests are being prepared, we are preparing the chickens.

To do this, boil three eggs, cool them, clean and separate the protein from the yolk. Rub the yolk with a fork. Three protein on a fine grater, add the remaining cheese, cottage cheese to it and mix everything thoroughly. We make 12 small balls from the protein-cheese mass and roll them in egg yolks. Two of these balls is one chicken.

Arrange the lettuce leaves on a small wide platter. We lay baked nests on top of them. We put “chickens” inside the nests. By placing one ball on top of the second, one chicken is obtained. To make the chickens look more natural, we make them a beak and a scallop from boiled carrots. The dish is ready to serve.

Seafood is used to prepare this salad. "Cock's Nest" will perfectly diversify any New Year's table and add a touch of novelty.

Ingredients:

  • Boiled shrimp - 100 gr.
  • Squids - 2 carcasses
  • Mussels - 100 gr.
  • Quail eggs - 4 pcs.
  • Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Hard cheese - 150 gr.

  • Sour cream, salt - to taste

The taste of this salad can delight every time with its novelty. Such changes are provided by the use of different varieties of sausage in it. Using boiled potatoes, the salad will be tender and lightly salted. With smoked sausage, it will have a more piquant and pronounced taste.

Since this year will be the year of the Rooster, I would like to decorate dishes in the same theme. Therefore, I propose to put on the table not just a delicious salad, but also a very beautiful and thematic one. You can cook like this.
I want to reassure you right away, there is nothing complicated in decorating a salad, everything is quite simple and easy. Yes, it's over, it's not as fast in time as, for example, just dressing the salad with mayonnaise and mixing it, but believe me. The result is worth it.



Ingredients:

- chicken breast - 300 grams;
- potatoes - 200 grams;
- carrots - 120 grams;
- beets - 300 grams;
- eggs - 2 pieces;
- canned corn - 2 tablespoons;
- mayonnaise - 150 grams.

Vegetables for salad must be boiled and cooled. After that, they need to be cleaned.
Eggs also need to be boiled, cooled and peeled.
Boil the chicken in salted water and cool like other ingredients and tear into small pieces. Lay them out on a plate. Spread with mayonnaise.




Place potatoes on top of meat. Spread it with mayonnaise as well.




Put the grated beets on a fine grater on the potatoes. Repeat the steps again with mayonnaise.
