Meat with mushrooms and cheese in the oven is a beautiful, appetizing and satisfying dish. This meat is perfect even for a holiday table. The meat can be cooked with fresh mushrooms, or with frozen ones. Meat cooked with chanterelles looks especially appetizing.

Compound:

  • Meat (beef, veal or pork) – 1 kg
  • Mushrooms (chanterelles, champignons, porcini, etc.) – 600 g
  • Cheese – 100 g
  • Onions – 2 pcs.
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Dried dill - to taste (can be replaced with your favorite spice)

Preparation:

Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. One onion will need to be fried and the other left raw. Fried onions will add flavor to the meat, and raw juiciness.

Heat a little sunflower oil in a frying pan and add half the chopped onion. Fry the onion over low heat until golden brown for 10-15 minutes.

While the onions are frying, wash, peel and chop the mushrooms. I had frozen chanterelles and a fairly limited supply of time. Therefore, I defrosted the chanterelles under cold running water. They don’t need to be completely defrosted, the main thing is that each mushroom is separated from the others.

Add the mushrooms to the fried onions, stir and fry until half cooked for 10 minutes.

Wash the meat and cut into slices 1 cm thick. Beat each piece of meat on both sides. To prevent pieces of meat from flying in different directions and dirtying the kitchen, cover the meat with film or a bag when beating.

Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the meat in an even layer. Lay out the meat in a thick layer, as it will greatly decrease in size during cooking. Immediately salt and pepper the meat and add your favorite spices. It will be enough to salt the meat on one side, since it is sliced ​​quite thinly. And immediately turn on the oven at 200 degrees so that it starts to warm up.

Place the remaining raw onion on top of the meat.

Place the next layer of fried mushrooms and onions.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and place in the final layer.

Place the meat with mushrooms and cheese in a preheated oven for one hour.

After an hour, the meat is ready, serve it hot with any side dish.

An excellent side dish would be boiled potatoes seasoned with butter. But since my husband is on a diet, we ate this meat with buckwheat, which also turned out to be very, very tasty.

And it is the combination of several of these components that brings the most pleasure from the prepared dish. Therefore, beef in the oven with mushrooms is exactly the deliciously tender tandem that everyone who tries it will love.

To prepare, take the ingredients:
- beef, cut into 150 g pieces

- onion

Let's start the cooking process.

First, rinse the meat, place it on paper napkins, and then cut it into medium-sized pieces and add mustard to them, rubbing it into the meat, into each piece separately. Let's leave everything like this for about 50 minutes (it can be longer, this will only give the meat even more flavor).

Let's turn on the oven at 200 degrees first and move on.

Peel the onion and chop into cubes.

Pour a little oil into the bottom of the clay pot, place the pieces of meat, then the onions. Close the pots with lids and put them in the oven for about 60 minutes, during which time we carefully remove the pots several times and mix their contents.

We will clean, wash, chop and fry the mushrooms, then put them in pots and add more cream, black peppercorns, paprika, salt and place in the oven for another half an hour.

Our dish is ready, let's serve it straight with peas.

Pour sour cream or cream into a small bowl, add 1 tablespoon of starch, chopped garlic, mix so that there are no lumps, and add to the mushrooms, onions and cheese. Then add some salt and mix all the ingredients thoroughly. We have a mixture for the “fur coat”, with which we will cover the top of the chopped meat. If one of your loved ones does not like mushrooms or onions, then you can replace them with tomatoes and the finished dish will practically not lose from such a replacement.

  • Mayonnaise – 250 gr.;
  • Vegetable oil;
  • Salt pepper.

Step 1. The meat, previously washed in cold water, must be prepared, namely, remove veins, films, and bones. After this, we cut it across the fibers into thin longuets, no more than one centimeter thick, and carefully beat it on both sides (pre-wrap the beef in plastic so that the juice does not splatter). Rub the chops with a small amount of salt and spices on each side.

Step 2. Let's start preparing the potatoes - rinse, peel, and rinse again in cold water. Cut the tubers into thin slices.

Step 3. Peel the onions and cut into rings.

Step 4. Preparing mushrooms comes down to the following procedure - wash the champignons, let them dry for a few minutes. Next, using a knife, chop the ingredient into pieces.
